Don't forget to visit the Torquay Markets across the road near the tennis courts while you are staying here.  They are on every Saturday from 7am - 1pm.  Then wander down to the Pier Markets on at the same time.

Here at White Crest Hervey Bay, we are always adding new things for you to do.  If it is raining or too hot to play outside, we now have Table Tennis and other fun things for you to do.  Who is going to be the first to use our new addition!

When we have a rainy day here during school holidays, kids can paint rocks to either take home or rehide once the sun is out.  They have so much fun doing it!  Well done budding artists!

The Hervey Bay RSL has started work on Stage 1 of the new 18 hole Mini Golf Course.  It will also have a reception area and licenced cafe.  Something new to look forward to and within walking distance of us here at White Crest.  Stay tuned!

Mini Golf Hervey Bay

Well Hervey Bay is about to make the big screen.  A new Aussie thriller directed by Ms Sainbury and staring Bec Hewitt, Georgie Parker & Jeremy Stanford will be filmed next week around the bay.  They will be doing alot of filming on Dundowran Beach. Very exciting for our town.

WOW what a season it has been.  So many beautiful Humpback whales have been to visit us here in the bay.  We have even had a few pods of False Killer Whales (what a treat).  Even the odd Killer Whale which haven't been seen for many years.  A massive thank you to all our tour operators for all their hard work and giving our tourists and guests such a wonderful experience.

Childers Festival is a celebration of the people and heritage of Childers! When the highway closes, Childers is transformed into an action-packed entertainment hub, hosting celebrity artists and live music from every genre and decade. The incredible markets feature a highway filled with stallholders where you can pick up vintage treasures, sample local produce and admire hand-made gems and local arts and craft. Those young and young at heart will also be mesmerised by dance, culture, street performers and carnival rides.
